All references to "Chiltern Mills" can be read as "Treymaine Ltd T/A Chiltern Mills".
Chiltern Mills aims to offer you the best customer service we possibly can.
To do this we have set out below clear terms and conditions. These terms and conditions expand upon the way we deal with your order, how we process payments, how we handle any personal information, how we use that information, how you can get in touch with Customer Services and how to formally complain if you feel you are not getting the service that was promised.
These terms and conditions apply to web site orders only; the terms and conditions governing our retail stores will vary from those set out below.
All orders placed on the website are subject to the Laws of England and Wales.
Any goods ordered after 1st October 2015 are sold under the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 as amended.
This allows a full refund for goods if a fault is found within 30 days of receiving the goods.
We are not deemed to have accepted your offer to purchase until the moment we ship the goods.

If you have contacted us by email and not heard back from Chiltern Mills within 3 days could you please check your Junk or Spam folder as sometimes our email replies are transferred there by your computer.
1. Ordering of goods
The buyer means the person who has bought or agreed to buy the goods from Chiltern Mills.
The seller means Chiltern Mills, the supplier of the goods.
For each order that you make an e-mail will be sent to you confirming that your order has been received.
However, if at any time Chiltern Mills becomes aware of any detail, information or documentation that it feels should be checked and proves unsatisfactory after your order has been placed, we retain the right to cancel this order at any time before delivery.
If your order is not accepted, for any reason, Chiltern Mills shall inform you by e-mail within 3 working days of the order.
Chiltern Mills reserves the right not to supply any goods at our discretion and will not deliver any order that has not been paid for in full.
2. Stock availability
Our website does not display live stock information, but we endeavour to keep sufficient stock levels to satisfy all orders except those that have an extended delivery period.
Items with extended delivery times are itemised on the web site.
All of our stock is subject to availability. In some cases we may not be able to supply the full quantity of stock you have ordered. If this happens, or if there is a delay in fulfilling your order, we will contact you by telephone or email within 2 days.
Some of the Curtains, Bed Linen, Divans, Furniture and Blinds may need to be ordered directly from the supplier and this may extend the delivery times for these products.
On some occasions, these special orders can take up to 14 working days to arrive at our depots and on the odd occasions may take even longer. In the event of any delay we will keep you informed by email or phone.
On the web site there are curtains that are listed as Special Order Curtains on individual product pages.
These curtains are not held in stock but have to be ordered in on an individual basis after the order has been placed by a customer.
Because of this no refunds or exchanges can be given except if there is a fault in the materials or an alteration that has been requested and made by Chiltern Mills is incorrect.
The prices for the goods are those stated on the web site but these may be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the seller.
Prices charged on the web site are web site only prices and may be different to those charged in the retail stores.
Chiltern Mills offers the goods to the buyer in accordance with the quotation displayed on the web site.
The prices of goods displayed on the web site are inclusive of VAT wherever applicable.
Delivery will be charged in addition to the quoted prices for the goods and these will be clearly seen on the checkout pages as you place your order.
All prices for goods and delivery include Vat at 20% unless otherwise stated.
4. Promotional Codes Used
Any promotional codes used on the website are applicable to specific products or categories of products only. They do not apply to all the products on the website.
Promotional codes are valid for a period of 7 days unless otherwise stated from the date of first promotion date.
Chiltern Mills reserve the right to withdraw any promotional offer at any time.
All promotions and discounts shown on the web site are not available in the retail stores at Cross Gates, Redcar, Bridlington, Worksop and Sutton in Ashfield. These stores run their own local promotions.
However, you can order online and pick up the goods from the Leeds Cross Gates store.
5. Credit Cards and Debit Cards
When placing an order you will be asked for your credit or debit card details.
Chiltern Mills accepts credit and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Solo, Electron and Visa Debit.
We also offer PayPal as a means of payment but not American Express or Diners Cards.
6. Checking Your Card Details
Chiltern Mills uses Pay Point, an independent Payment Service Provider for authorising online credit and debit card transactions. You will be informed by email if Pay Point cannot accept the processing of the card within one working day.
This and other checks protect both you as a customer and Chiltern Mills as a supplier of goods against fraudulent transactions.
7. Right to cancel an order
You may cancel your order at any stage before the goods are dispatched to you.
To cancel an order you can contact our Customer Service Centre by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, using the Contact Form, or call us on 0113 2840655 to ensure that the goods are not sent out.
Once your order has been dispatched, Chiltern Mills cannot cancel the order.
8. Exchanging Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If the goods we deliver are faulty or damaged or not what you ordered, Chiltern Mills will exchange the goods immediately or issue a full refund to you including the delivery charges upon receipt of the goods.
You must notify us of any faults within 30 days and all damages or mistakes within 14 days of delivery. To help keep the cost down as low as possible we may ask you to send the goods back using Recorded Delivery. We will refund any delivery charges you incur in these circumstances.
If you are not satisfied with the goods for any other reason, we will exchange or refund any unused items returned in their original saleable condition and original packaging. You can return the goods within 14 days of delivery.
In some very rare instances pairs of curtains will not exactly match and there may be minor differences in the design or the fabric of the two curtains. Also, measurements stated in the product descriptions are approximate and as such readymade items may differ slightly in size. When this occurs Chiltern Mills cannot be held responsible and cannot refund or exchange goods that are within the manufactures tolerance limits.
Chiltern Mills makes every effort to deliver the goods on time and ensure that they match your expectations.
Any pictures on the web site are for illustrative purposes only; the packaging you receive your item in may vary from what is shown on the web site.
However, we cannot be held liable in any circumstances for non-performance of our trading terms because we are impeded by events such as acts of God, war and other hostilities, accidents, strikes, import delays and other events not within the reasonable control of Chiltern Mills.
From time to time people contact Chiltern Mills on social media channels such as Face Book, Twitter etc. We reserve the right not to reply to any post from these channels.

Chiltern Mills reserves the right to review and change its terms and conditions of sale.
Any changes to these terms and conditions will be notified on this web site. However, any order placed will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of sale.
