To be sure of the best possible fit, take time to measure your window carefully.
Please double check to ensure you have the correct measurements.
Your curtain pole or track should be positioned 15cm or 6 inches above the top of the window and extend, if possible, 15cm - 20cm,
or 6 - 8 inches on either side.
While our curtains are sold in pairs, the sizes refer to each individual curtain. So if you purchase 46" X 72" (117cm x 183cm) curtains
you will receive two curtains 46" X 72" (117cm x 183cm) in size. This allows for a full and luxurious fitting for the curtains.
Measure the width
First of all, measure the width of your curtain track or pole excluding finials. If you have not yet fitted your pole or track measure
the width of your window and if possible and ideally, add 30cm – 40cm or 12 – 16 inches to this measurement.
This measurement is the width of curtain you require.
If this measurement does not exactly match the curtain sizes available, either
1. Purchase the next size up if you would prefer more gather or
2. Purchase the next size down if these are just to dress your window.
Our curtains are available in the standard widths:
46" (117cm) wide
66" (168cm) wide
90" (229cm) wide
Other sizes are available depending on the design.
Measure the drop:
Before measuring the drop, decide whether you want your curtains to fit to the sill, below the sill or to the floor. We suggest that curtains that:
fit to the sill, finish approximately 1.5cm (0.5 inches) above the sill;
fall below the sill, finish approximately 15cm (6 inches) below the sill;
are floor length, finish approximately 1.5cm (0.5 inches) from the floor.
Curtains that fall below the sill finish 15cm below.
Floor length curtains finish 1.5cm from the floor.
Measure the distance from the top of your pole or track to where you would like the curtains to end.

Example #1:
You have measured your window area and curtain pole:
Width 205cms (81 inches)
Drop 175cms (69 inches)
As these curtains will be used i.e. drawn, and they finish at the floor, the correct size required is:
229cm x 183cm or 90” x 72”
These curtains should be altered so that they don’t touch the floor.
Example #2:
You have measured your window area and curtain pole:
Width 56 inches (142cms)
Drop 53 inches (135cms)
As these curtains will be used i.e. drawn, the correct size required is:
168cm x 137cm or 66” x 54”
