Delivery Policy

All references to "Chiltern Mills" can be read as "Treymaine Ltd T/A Chiltern Mills".

Chiltern Mills employs City Link to deliver your order, however other couriers may be used at our discretion. Delivery is normally within 5-7 working days, dispatched on a next working day service for most items (Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays). Other items including, but not limited to, divans, mattresses and furniture may take up to two weeks. Please note that our website does not display live stock information and that if for some reason the item(s) you have ordered are unavailable we will contact you as soon as we become aware, by phone or e-mail to let you know. At this point you have a choice to amend or cancel your order.

Delivery is free on all orders that weigh up to and including 30Kg, with a value of more than £50, (excluding delivery charge) to all areas where we deliver goods. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

Delivery is charged at £6.95 for most parts of Britain. Deliveries to Northern Ireland or offshore Scotland will incur an additional £6.00 charge. There are other certain Postcodes in Scotland that will incur this charge. The Isle of White costs £16.95 for delivery. Delivery to these areas normally takes 2 –3 extra working days but in some cases can take up to 4 working days. We will contact the customer to arrange payment. You will be able to see the total delivery charge for your order in Step 3 (Delivery Information) of the Checkout process before you confirm and pay for your order.

At the moment we cannot deliver to the Channel Islands.

At this time we are unfortunately unable to deliver internationally or to any BFPO addresses.

Please note when placing your order to make sure the delivery address is where someone will be available to sign for your parcel(s). City Link will not automatically leave the parcel without a signature. We can deliver to your work address. In the event that you cannot have your order delivered to your work address and you will not be in at your Home Address you can instruct us to leave your order safe- ie with a neighbour, in the back garden etc, but this service is opt-in only. To opt-in please fill out the Courier Special Instructions on the Delivery Information page, Step 3 of the Checkout Process. The parcel(s) become your responsiblity if City Link leave them safe. Please choose a suitable location that will be safe during this time.

If you are not in at the time of delivery City Link will leave a card and return the parcel(s) to the nearest City Link Depot. Unless instructed otherwise by you, City-Link will re-attempt delivery the next working day. Please contact City Link using the number on the card to arrange a second FREE attempt at delivery. You will have 5 working days from the original delivery attempt to arrange the re-delivery or you may pickup the parcel yourself, otherwise the parcel will be returned to us. In this event a charge of £13.90 will be made to us if the addresses are within mainland U.K, any other areas will incur further costs and unfortunately we will have to pass this on to you when redelivery is made again. In the event that you do not receive a delivery card on the due delivery day (after we have emailed you to confirm dispatch of your order) please contact us so we can investigate.

Once your order has been dispatched or delivery has been attempted, if you want to amend the delivery address then a charge of £13.90 will be payable if the addresses are within mainland U.K, otherwise they will cost more. We therefore ask that you contact us for confirmation of delivery charges. To avoid this charge please check the address you have entered and ensure that you have followed the Policy as detailed above.

To help keep the prices as low as possible on this website we have to pass on any additional charges made by City Link to you.

Certain items, marked 'delivery policy exemption applies' will use different terms and conditions. These apply to marked items only and only exempt point 4 of our terms and conditions. These terms can be read here.
