Made to Measure Blinds

Chiltern Mills offers a tremendous selection of made to measure blinds of all kinds through its retail stores in Crossgates Leeds ,Redcar ,Worksop ,Sutton-in-ashfield , & Bridlington.

Our range of blinds includes Roman blinds with over 1000 different fabric options, aluminium venetian blinds in over 75 colours and in 4 different slat widths, wooden venetian blinds in 4 different slat widths and over 15 colours with 12 colours of tapes available to replace the standard cord, vertical & roller blinds in over 1000 different fabric options including fabrics specially designed for commercial premises which meet all fire retarding requirements, fabrics specially designed for moist conditions with washable slats and ones coated in anti-mildew and anti-mould treatments.

We also offer a range of pleated blinds with over 250 different fabric options including ones which are ideal for conservatories allowing light to come in but preventing the conservatory from becoming overheated in the summer and from losing heat in the winter. Additionally we offer the new Apex style pleated blind with 50 mm slat width which is a stylish and practical way to dress your windows. We also offer bamboo roman blinds in 10 colours with 2 different bamboo style weaves as well as the new “roller-roman” blinds which use a roller fabric and roller chain mechanism but have the look of a roman blind – ideal for bathrooms and kitchens.

We also offer a fantastic range of made to measure curtains with 1000’s of different fabrics made specially to your requirements and with options such as eyelet heading, pencil pleat tape heading, goblet heading and pinch pleat headings as well as specialist experience in swags and tails, buckram straight pelmets and in fact just about anything you would like we can make for you.

From our flagship Crossgates store we have a free measuring service for our customers through Billy who has over 35 years of experience in made to measure curtains and blinds and can bring a range of samples to the house for you to look at the colours in the natural light of your own room for that perfect look. Billy will travel anywhere within 25 miles and normally goes out to measure on Thursdays (up to 7pm last appointment), Fridays & Saturdays. Longer distances and other times can be managed with some notice and by special arrangement. We currently don’t have a home consultant at any of our other stores but there are always staff there who have lots of experience with blinds and curtains and will be able to advise you on the best way to measure to make sure your blind or curtains are made as accurately as possible.
